A kid-favorite breakfast. Using milk instead of water ups the dish’s protein content, leaving you full longer!
Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal
- 2 cups of milk*
- 1/4 cup of raisins
- 4 packets of instant oatmeal*
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Heat the milk and raisins over medium-high heat, stirring often and watching closely so that the milk doesn’t burn the bottom of the pot. Once it is very hot, stir in the oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir well and then let it sit for five minutes so it can thicken up before ladling into bowls and serving.
