An easy, kid-friendly lunch fix!
- 6 whole wheat tortilla shells*
- 8 oz of tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese*
Preheat oven to 400. Place tortilla shells directly on wire oven racks and bake about 4-5 minutes, until slightly crisp. Remove and place on counter. While tortillas are heating, combine the tomato sauce and seasonings in a small saucepan on the stove until warmed.
Spoon desired amount of pizza sauce onto each tortilla. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, making sure to evenly distribute the two cups between all six tortillas. Place the tortillas back in the oven and bake for 4-5 minutes longer, until edges are lightly browned and cheese is bubbly. Carefully remove and let rest for a few minutes. Cut as desired and enjoy!
